I was monumentally stupid last night when I went ALLIN with ABSOLUTELY nothing to try and “scare” the guy off the pot.  Honestly the way he was betting I should have known he had something.  He PreFloped raised and hes a moderately TIGHT player so that usually means he has HIGH CARDS.  He BET the FLOP which came up ALL HIGH cards.  I stupidly and without thinking bet all in after the river to try and scare him off.  Of course I did not and I am now writing this POST annoyed but still glad I made the mistake on a play money table.

Destroyed By My ALL IN Bet

Was playing a tournament tonight and I completely got mowed down by a brilliant play:

Now alot of people will say this is just a really BAD BEAT but I say I was stupid because I had the 3rd best hand.  This is a case of not thinking things through.  I saw my nut flush COMPLETED and bam I instantly went all in.

What I should have done was think:

Well he probably doesn’t have QUADS but if he holds even a SINGLE ACE I am dominated.  It was worth a call but not an ALL IN.

Lesson learned…again.

I would like to tip my hat to Makkidu for playing that hand extremely well.  Simply calling and checking the entire time.
